Tell me about your The Beginning!
We were introduced by mutual friends at Empire nightclub… in the R’n’B room. Dale sent me a friend request on Facebook later that night (although he will insist that I sent it to him). And we ended up messaging almost everyday since then. We ended up catching up with our mutual friends a bit more regularly and the spark grew from there. I think our first official “date” was trip down to Chelsea beach and a fish and chip lunch on the sand!
When and where did you get engaged?
The 29th of November, 2019. The day we got the keys to our first purchased home! Dale caught me completely off guard. We got the keys, went inside and did a walk through of the house and backyard. Once we got back to the living room Dale took my hands (which were really sweaty) and then got down on one knee! He also had organised our parents to come over for champagne and dinner at our place that evening which we ate on deckchairs as our furniture hadn’t been moved in yet!
What style/theme/colours have you chosen for your Wedding Day?
We are going with a fairly low key rustic styling in Olinda Yarra Estate. The colour scheme in the reception space is mostly neutrals, green foliage with white flowers and timber/hessian table decor. The bridesmaids will be wearing a rust coloured dress and the bridal party flower scheme is a mix of rust, pink and white roses with greenery.
What are you most looking forward to on the day?
Having the ceremony completed so we can enjoy the party!
