Tell me about your The Beginning!
We met when we both worked at the McDonalds in Collingwood when we were 15-16 years old. Our first date was playing pool in the city together, a week after playing pool as a group activity.
When and where did you get engaged?
We got engaged at the end of 2019 at The London Bridge down in Portsea.
Adrian: I pretended I wanted to go to London Bridge Lookout in Portsea to take some scenery photos to “practice my photo editing” to pass time while recovering from my upcoming surgery to remove my tonsils. Hien fell for this hook, line and sinker. We drove to Portsea and got fish and chips from our favourite shop, and I barely had any appetite because I was so nervous. After we ate we went to the lookout, and got to the beach just as the sun was setting. I asked Hien if she wanted to take a selfie together capturing the sunset background, with my camera on the tripod. She said yes so I set up the camera and pretended to run over for the photo, but secretly it was set to record video and then I got down on one knee and proposed. Hien was very shocked and surprised. It was a lovely moment together.
What style/theme/colours have you chosen for your Wedding Day?
Blush Latte Cappucino colour scheme for the flowers, Olive for bridesmaids dresses, Black suits for the Groom and Groomsmen.
What are you most looking forward to on the day?
Seeing all our friends and family come together to celebrate us. Looking forward to seeing all those smiling faces.
