Tell me about your The Beginning!
We met when we were practically kids, around 10-11 years old, Caleb’s parents and Emma’s aunty and uncle lived next door to each other and where good friends, so we knew each other for a long time before we started dating. Looking back, we have both admitted we always were wanting to see each other and talk to each other at family functions etc and would always get disappointed when we didn’t get the chance to. It wasn’t until Emma was housesitting her uncles house as a 16-17 year old teenager with her older sister that they finally got to actually make a connection, we invited him and his friends over for drinks and a fire and the rest is history! almost 11 years later we are finally getting hitched!
When and where did you get engaged?
We got engaged 9th May of 2021. We went to Flinders back beach lookout for a fish and chip dinner whilst we watched the sunset with our dog. Emma had no idea until Caleb started getting annoyed at a surfer that was taking a long time to get changed and leave right next to us… Then she finally caught onto what was happening…. not that she let him know.
What style/theme/colours have you chosen for your Wedding Day?
We are going a rustic theme with dried flowers and brown/burgundy tones for the bridesmaids and groomsmen. a very laid-back look with the groomsmen just wearing shirts with suspenders and chino pants, bridesmaids wearing a midi length dress, nothing too formal.
What are you most looking forward to on the day?
Definitely celebrating with friends and family. With our families being very close, we are looking forward to seeing all their beautiful faces and being able to share our special day with them!

Start early and have a calendar with dates of payments and appointments. So you don’t get mix up, the more stress free the better!
